Big changes are afoot at Gucci: Frida Giannini steps down

Changes are afoot at Gucci: it was announced today that Frida Giannini and chief executive officer Patrizio di Marco will be leaving the fashion house. Giannini has carved out a particular style for the brand that draws heavily from its heritage. She joined the company in 2002 as the director of handbags, and took over as creative director of the whole brand in 2006.

As for who will take her place? Let the speculations begin….
